BC Coast Hikers Terms of Service

BC Coast Hikers (“we,” “us,” “our”) is based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, and operates bccoasthikers.org, including our public website and member area (“platform”).
Eligibility
You must be at least 19 years of age — the age of majority in British Columbia under the Age of Majority Act — to become a member.
Accounts
Membership requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for keeping your account secure.
You may choose a preferred name, shown in place of your legal name. What we collect and who can see it is in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform respectfully, and not to:
- Impersonate another person
- Post false or misleading information
- Misuse outing sign-ups or leader tools
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Outings
Outing sign-up, participation, and any related waivers will be governed by additional agreements as those features are introduced. These Terms apply generally to your use of the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
